But what is a Sound Bath immersion?
A Sound Bath offers a therapeutic, immersive experience, using sound to nurture body and mind. Participants typically lie down comfortably, often with a blanket, pillow, and eye mask. Guided breathing begins the session, followed by various sounds and frequencies from instruments like tuning forks, Himalayan and crystal singing bowls and many more.
Benefits of Sound Bath Immersion
When you sink into a Sound Bath immersion and guide your awareness to your listening, you allow your brain waves to slowly shift from an active to a more relaxed state to invite a deeper condition of relaxation and consciousness.
And what is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. The practice draws our attention inwards, and you learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis).
Benefits of Yoga Nidra
Yoga nidra affects the autonomic nervous system, which controls involuntary bodily functions like heartbeat and digestion. It calms the sympathetic nervous system, associated with fight-or-flight response, and activates the parasympathetic nervous system, linked to rest and digest.
